I purchased mine at a local Walmart and unfortunately had to return it. I'll cover some of the good points first.
The design is straightforward with some excellent features like a detachable cord, easily removable grill to access and clean the blades. It also has a recessed area on the top, rear that serves as a grip for carrying.
One of the biggest selling points for me was the energy saving claim. At two cents per day operating costs it's practically green, and even at three times that amount it's still compelling.
What I did not like however is the low airflow. I could not feel it from ten feet away and even at four feet it was weak. The irony here is when I returned mine to Walmart there was an identical fan in the customer service area that was about eight feet behind the counter and it had a strong airflow. I am guessing that some of these units work perfectly and others not so well. There was another issue with mine: a loose screw inside the grill that was rattling around. It made me wonder what else would fall apart and was another reason why I returned it.
My conclusion is there is a quality control or manufacturing problem (or both). That is a shame because the fan is light, attractive and energy-saving. Had I not seen an identical model working perfectly I would have not rated this one at three stars. Buying one, though, is like rolling dice and I am not in a gambling mood when shopping for appliances.
