Cheap double....and it shows.

I had an Instep Safari double for 5 days.  It was very cute (blue and chocolate version) and reasonably priced, but I had to sell it due to the following reasons:

my older son did not fit in it (the manual says it only fits kids up to 38 inches tall)
it was tippy (scary since I was using it with a newborn)
so light the wind would blow it away
wider than a standard doorway
skimpy canopies

I liked that it was lightweight and steered easily but it was just not suitable for our family.  I ended up spending a lot more on a double (a BJCCD), but am much more satisfied with that purchase.

Good call on the BJCCD.  Maybe it's the wheels in the front that make the difference.  Thanks for sharing! :)

LPMom...I used to work for these guys and I couldn't agree more. The products overall have not changed with the times and even before, they weren't the best alternatives. www.supersafetydad.com
