Pros: Well known brand, reputation, not to expensive, easy to use.

Cons: you have to pay extra for more warranty

Who said using a washing machine was just for women. Who ever did has not taken care of a large family before. When you are a divorced father and you need to do all of the housework yourself, you need a very dependable machine to take care of all the washing. It's not like you have to go out and beat your clothes on a rock or something, this machine actually does a good job.

I have bought a lot of Kenmore products in my life, when I purchased this washing machine I already had a good idea that it was a good product. Kenmore usually don't have any bad products. At least I have yet to find any. When my other machine broke down I did not know where to buy another one. So I started to shop around and what did I see? I saw a lot of stupid machines that looked the same. And that they had some out rageous prices.

What I was looking for was a very durable washer that was extra large and not to many accessories. I don't think that you actually need all of those gadgets. It's just a waste of money in my book. So, it was very hard to find a washer with just simple stuff on it, and so the kids would not break it. It had to be really tough but yet easy to operate. Also had to be extremely durable and kidproof to.

The one I found was simple, yet it had just enough accessories on it to please the older kids. Kenmore has a lot of choices to choose from, just watch out so you don't get caught up in the salesman's talk and buy something that you don't really need. You might buy to much of a washer, for what you really need.

This particular machine is simple, it different water levels and temperatures. It has settings for heavy duty, delicates, normal, permanent press, and the very short wash. This don't mean for short people. The two speed motor this machine has does very well and is reasonably quiet. I don't know why it is but when you want any color but white you have to pay ten extra dollars. You would think that you are already paying enough for this machine.

I did looked around at different name brands but found out that they were all about the same. So I went where I am used to going with, Kenmore. I have washed all my clothes in this machine, including oily work clothes, rugs, blankets, and all the delicates that you can think of. The machine has performed very well. It has a special spot that you can pour the bleach, so you don't have to pour it straight on the clothes. This washer does hold a very big load.

I would highly recommend this particular washer to the big families out there. But, you have to remember that since all washers are about the same go where your heart is. Go with what you know and have experienced. My experience with this machine is a very good one. I have not had any problems yet. The warranty is reasonably good. The only problem that I have is that you always have to pay extra for a stupid warranty. You would think that if you buy a product that it would last at least for ten years with no problems.

Also remember all you guys out there, that washing clothes is not only for the women. They do make these machines IDIOT proof, so that even guys can use them. Also the children too. You just put the clothes in, set the cycle and add soap and downy. That's it guys, so why all you guys help your wives out, and do some laundry today.

Pros: fabric softener and bleach dispensers, hand wash setting     Cons: none     My mom had this washing machine and I LOVED it. So of course when I went to buy ours it is the first I looked at.      It features various water levels, not just small, medium, large. The various wash settings are great, it has cotten, permanent press, delicate and hand wash. This last setting has saved me so much time on hand wash or dry clean items. I can …
