Let me start out by admitting that I'm not a photographer. But I had a positive experience with another Lowepro backpack, for laptops, so I decided to give this one a try.
It's got tons of pockets, lots of straps (for wrapping around a tripod, apparently, but there's no way to temporarily remove them so that they don't get in the way when you're walking around)... basically, this is one mammoth backpack. And yet, it's not much use for hauling, say, a laptop. I was able to just barely squeeze a 15" MacBook Pro into it, but I wouldn't recommend it.
Look, I'm sure this is a great backpack if you're hauling a huge camera with a bunch of accessories. But for the rest of us, though the product description gives the impression that it has other uses, I'd recommend that you shy away.
