Darlene Collier's MARRIED TO SIN Shows Us What Happens When We Learn To Turn The Page
Apr 25, 2012
All of us know what it is like to not listen to the voice of reason that speaks to us through others and sometimes through ourselves. When we listen to the voice, a lot of times we are able to avoid some of the mistakes and calamities that might come our way if we choose to avoid it.
In the book MARRIED TO SIN author Darlene Collier shows us what happens when those voices are not heeded and we have to live through challenges and difficulties like few would be able to imagine.
This book spoke to me on many levels. One is that I know Darlene, but had no idea what she was going through in her life with her husband and her children. Another thing that the book tells us is how Darlene Collier came to be the person she is today. We learn about her upbringing, how it influences the decisions she had made and then how she is able to learn the importance of trusting herself, even in difficult times.
Another great lesson that we can see in Darlene's book is that we have to be willing to acknowledge our mistakes but not dwell on them. There is a time and place to realize where we have erred, but we can't move forward if we stay in that space. Darlene Collier has learned how to do just htat, and through the assistance of Meredith C. McGee she has been able to deliver a powerful book.
This is one of those reads that will have you racing through the pages trying to see what happens next. MARRIED TO SIN shows what we can learn to turn the page on the past and live a life of purpose in the present and future.
