I had the original cielo and bought the cielo evolution when I was at the ABC expo. The owner sold me one of the floor model for $135, not a steal but cheaper than retail plus tax. I like the cielo because of the small size and that it comes with a carrying bag so I always put it inside the bag, to keep the stroller clean and my trunk clean and tidy. After I used it a few time, I found the stitching of the bag was starting to tear. The bag was apparently too tight for the new evolution. So of course I called the company and the operator sent me to an extension that didn't answer and I left a voice mail. It's been almost 4 months now and I kept calling and leaving VM but never ever heard back from mia moda. So, while I like the stroller a lot because of the compact fold and light weight and pretty good maneuverability, you'd better not have any issue or else good luck getting any support.
----------------------------- more comments after my initial review:
I like that this one has a cup holder but even though I pop it out to store in the bag, eventually it will detach completely. May be from the movement in the trunk? So far it hasn't broken yet and I keep my fingers cross it won't 'coz I'll never get anywhere with their customer service.
I like the new basket has a zipper so it is easier to access the contents. The basket is not big but can hold a decent amount of stuff including a few diapers and a wipe case and a wallet etc. I still won't take it out because putting it back is a little more hassle, even though it is relatively easy to do.
I like it has a better recline. But I found when my daughter falls asleep, her head rest on the side (may be part of the frame?) which is very hard so I need to cushion her head with a burp cloth or jacket or blanket.
I like that it now has the arm rest but I don't know if it makes any difference to my daughter. It just made me feel better.
Like the prior version, it is very easy to push and steer. Opening and closing takes a bit getting used to but once you get the hang of it, it is very easy. Feels sturdy for a light weight stroller. Sun canopy is a bit small but I use the sunshade addon and it works just fine. My daughter actually likes the "openness" so that she can see more around her without having to lean forward. The only drawback is lack of storage but it is easy to hang a bag. In fact you can probably use the arm rest to hang a few plastic bags.
