Not Even Worth a Dollar

Read the description very carefully before buying - these are plastic. Not only that, but they are VERY CHEAP plastic, the type you'd buy at the dollar store. In fact, I went to the dollar store and the ones they were offering for a dollar were actually of better quality.

If I could give this set zero stars, I would. The set is comprised of 3 large forks and 3 large spoons meant for serving. The cheap plastic is coated in some sort of silver lacquer, I'm guessing to give it a "silver" look. However, the fork prongs and the spoon handles were not adequately coated and the black plastic was showing through. The description says these are machine washable on the top rack, but I can't see these lasting through a wash.

The description says "fashionable, durable, affordable, reusable or disposable". A cheap piece of plastic made in China is not very fashionable, they are certainly not durable, and are they kidding with affordable when these cost $24? I'll give them reusable or disposable (more like disposable though). Amazon has lovely Calphalon wood utensils sets for under $20; I can't even see the logic behind this Mozaik utensil set and the ridiculous price.

Ew, gross! I hate metallic-looking things that are actually plastic coated in some sort of metallic material. Thanks for the heads up! You're probably better off at Target or IKEA ;)

I like this serving set. They work well for potlucks, picnics or other semi-casual social events.       Made of plastic, these serving spoons look like silver plated metal. They are sturdy yet light. They won't break from the weight of food and will last through an event.       I have two issues with this product. First, I have experienced the silver chipping off. That would not be a problem but I have no idea where the coating went. Was it in …

These utensils are disposable and reusable - a solid plastic with a silver-color coating. They would be good for serving salads, pastas, desserts, and other culinary goodies. Use them on something too hard and they could crack. While they have an appealing look I'm not sure of the safety of the plastic coating - does it leak plastic molecules into your food? I don't see any assurance of it being free of unhealthy plastics so I wouldn't know if it's suitable for those being very conscious about eco-friendly …

Sabert® is proud to introduce a fashionable new line of Mozaik Serving Utensils (3 Forks - 3 Spoons) that are heavyweight plastic partyware. Mozaïk Serving Utensils may look like the real thing, but it’s durable, affordable plasticware that you can wash and reuse, or simply dispose. Either way, it’s a great way to serve with a little more style.
