This very exciting book begins with the death of five people at an ambush in Mexico, and then switches to a hotel in New York City where a married woman is getting friendly with a man she met at a bar. The plot then takes off from there, and the reader just holds on tight for a long and bumpy ride.
There is another plot line concerning a young Mexican nanny who is involved in a shooting at a mall where people are killed, and she has a secret that noone knows but her about her past. Soon we find both the woman and the nanny on the run, and they happen to meet and join forces to elude those trying to kill them, and discover exactly why they are wanted dead.
The plot moves quite fast, with lots of twists and turns, but everything does make sense when it all comes together at the end. I really enjoyed this book, and look forward to others from this author.
