Two things are important when it comes to ear buds - comfort and performance. Phillips "The Covert" ear buds score well with both.

The buds slip comfortably in the ear and the noise isolating ear caps do a decent job of blocking out some outside noise.

I normally listen with Bose ear buds which have an exceptional sound quality with deep rich bass tones. The Covert buds lack that level of deep bass richness, but by adjusting my iPod I was able to achieve an overall clarity and crispness, with enough deep bass undertone, to not really note a difference. Overall sound quality rates excellent and is comparable, if not better then, the higher priced Bose ear buds.

The tangle free cord with volume control is another plus. All-in-all the Covert ear buds are well worth a listen.

Considering their tiny size and virtual weightlessness, the sound quality merits a five star rating on its own. But wait...there's more.      These ear buds are amazingly comfortable! I must have small ears because almost all other buds begin …
