As far as the quality of sound and the overall listening experience, I like these headphones very much. I just wish that they would fit on my head better. Last time I checked, my hat size was something like a 7 3/8 inches, which doesn't strike me as being that small. But the fact is that the headphones sit a little low on my ears and there is no way to tighten things up. If there is, it's not readily apparent and a closely guarded secret (I scanned the instructions and specs on the package, searched Pioneer's web site to no avail, and even consulted a couple techno-literate twenty-somethings). For a large headed individual, this wouldn't be a problem as the crosspiece at the top of the headphones has plenty of stretch, unfortunately though, there is no retraction.
But okay, you want to know about how well they sound, and they perform great in that respect. I've used them with the stereo and the PC and the audio results are excellent. These aren't noise reduction headphones, which is actually my preference. Crank things up a bit and you still might hear the kids fight, or your significant other might be moved to say something like "isn't that a little loud for a Peter, Paul and Mary song?"
I particularly like the 18 foot cord with its fabric covering. It's nicely flexible and not easily tangled.
I just wish the damn things could fit a little more snugly over my ears. Maybe they should sell them in small and large sizes.

Keep in mind these are not noise canceling headphones, so you will be aware of your surroundings. They are so lightweight that they feel like you are wearing a "feather".
