Of all sad words of tongue or pen, the saddest are these...

"It might have been." This might have been a great product. It might have been the best egg poacher I've ever used. But it's not. It's deeply flawed, which is a great shame, because it does so many things right.
What's right? Well, the non-stickness is indeed pretty non-stick. I found spraying a bit of cooking spray inside helped, but it wasn't truly needed. Also nice is the size of the egg cups and the pan itself. The lid is also pretty dandy, though it doesn't exactly sit completely well. But at this point despite the minor complaint about the lid, we're sitting at four, maybe five stars.
Then I washed it. I wish I hadn't. For when I did, the pan itself showed signs of rust immediately. I thought it might simply be something that would go away after washing again, but it didn't. It persisted. Also I found some rust spots on the cup-holder and on the metal rim of the lid. All these things are quite unacceptable and shows that really they don't have much in the way of quality control on these.
It's a pity, cause like I said this is an otherwise very good product. But I don't want my cookware to dissolve away into rust after only a few uses. I am therefore returning this to Amazon for a refund.
