BMW cars are some of the most iconic and desirable in the world. The BMW brand is also, according to market research, the most valuable automotive brand. This probably comes as no surprise to anyone who has ever been paying attention to cars and other motor vehicle.

The BMW Book is the ultimate homage to this iconic brand. It is a book that not only showcases some of BMW's best latest models, but it also takes the reader on the tour of the entire BMW world - its history, various activities that BMW is engaged in, and the concept vehicles of the future that may or may not leave the factory floor one day. The historical pictures elicit a certain amount of nostalgia, especially if they were taken in the more recent eras that evoke our childhood or youth.

This is a really beautiful, luxurious and sumptuous book. Its large format and noticeable heft are worthy of the BMW name and brand. The three hundred pages are filled with large-format photographs, illustrations and sketches that do full justice to BMW's many products and designs. The pictures are powerful and dynamic, and they help us imagine driving or riding some of the BMW's vehicles.

The last chapter on architecture of BMW's factories, workspaces, headquarters and museums is a nice bonus that will have some crossover appeal to the architecture aficionados as well.

This is not just a glorified ad brochure or a magazine. This beautiful book makes for a great coffee table book or a gift for a car and/or BMW enthusiast. It is also a wonderful addition to any home library or a living room.

I am a benevolent rascal. I love lounging in bed on a Sunday morning. Rainy days make me melancholy, but in a good kind of way. I am an incorrigible chocoholic. I hate Mondays, but I get over it by Wednesday. … more
