I bought this bag directly from the Sak site. I got an excellent price on it.
Some pros and cons that I've found.
Pros: The leather is so thick and chewy. I can't describe it any other way. Great quality and holds up well. The strap is a big longer than what's been released over the past few years. It's a nice change. Very comfortable and doesn't ever slip off. The lining is excellent. It doesn't fray or fall apart at the seams. No holes no matter how much I use the bag.
Cons: I have the black bag. There is gold specks and the gold wears off quickly. It is like gold coloring on the suede part of the seams. That's the best I can describe it. Not an issue for me but wanted to point that out.
While I've never had a quality problem with Sak bags, the stitching may be worrysome for those used to the more expensive brands. Not sure if I'd ever pay full price for one of these bags because I'm used to higher quality and neater stitching. For the price point, these bags are excellent and hold up well. If you're OCD about your bags, then buy these in a store you can check them over before purchasing.
I did snag this bag for 80% off. At that price, I'm not going to be particular about messy stitching or flacking gold flecks because the leather is fantastic. Just wanted to point these items out for others.

The Sak's Solana bucket will add haute hippie style to your favorite outfits. The easy shape has been polished up by pretty pleating, and given added personality by stitch accents and metallic trim.
