A Little Goes a Long Way

After using Aniise's Wrinkle Free Eye Creme for over a month, I must say that I am very impressed that even after using it at least once a day, I still have almost the entire jar remaining. Obviously very little of this almost waxy-consisted cream needs to be used--in fact, at first, I was a bit put off by what seemed to be the heaviness of this product. However after using it, a dab at a time, I find that it performs its function of moisturizing well with no oily residue as I initially expected. The cream glides onto the soft tissue around the eye and seeps in quickly with no later smearing to your eye makeup. Putting on a little more at night creates a wonderful therapy while you sleep.

I am a woman of "a certain age" of Italian-American heritage. Usually seemingly heavier creams do not react well with my skin causing a greasy build-up that will last for hours. With Aniise's Wrinkle Free Eye Creme this does not occur. I had been using L'Occitane's Immortalle Eye Cream which is much more frothy in consistency. I find that the Aniise works just as well, using less and with the larger sized jar (.8 ounces) will obviously last me much longer at around the same price.

I did not find the fragrance to be too overt. It has a slight almond/lavender/lemon scent that you either like or you don't. Personally, it is not one of my favorites but I use so little of this product that it really doesn't surround me with any scent.

I have only used this product around my eye; I did not put it on my lids. The product contains the following for moisturizing and skin nourishment: fish oil, aloe vera, beta carotene, sweet olive oil, vitamin e and coconut oil. It does contain parabens.

For cleansing I used Cleansing Milk for Face and Eyes and for overall face moisturizing I used their Restorative Daily Creme.

Bottom line? Aniise's Wrinkle Free Eye Creme is a nice product that does what most eye creams do: moisturizes the delicate skin around the eye. It accomplishes this efficiently with a cream that glides and seeps into the skin easily. Recommended.
