This is a value-priced bundle that is perfect for sampling cheeses and wines. It's comprised of the following components, all of which are manufactured in Germany except the board, which is made in China.
Wusthof Classic 5-Inch Soft Cheese Knife, which is designed for cheeses like Brie. This is the only cheese knife I have found that will slice through Brie without sticking. The total length is about a quarter inch short of ten inches: the blade is five inches with a poly handle that is 4.75 inches. This is a razor sharp knife that needs to be handled and stored with care. Also, this is a stamped knife (carbon steel) that definitely holds its edge. I have no problems with the fact that it's stamped instead of forged because that distinction is only important with it comes to chef's knives and other heavier duty cutlery.
Wusthof Gourmet Cheese Plane. This utensil is 9.75 inches long with a three inch planing section. It's sharp and can slice a thin piece of hard cheese with little effort. The handle is the same poly material as the soft cheese knife, but this is made from stainless steel.
Wusthof Anti-slip Waiters Corkscrew 6930. Nice balance with a perfect fulcrum from the long lever and arm that is notched for incremental leverage. The worm has a pitch that allows it to gram and start backing out the cork with relatively little effort. There is a small cutting wheel on the butt end that is an integrated foil cutter. The metal is nickel plated and should last a lifetime with proper care.
Wusthof 2036 Bamboo Cutting Board. You can use either side. It's relatively large at 12x8 inches and it substantial at .75 inches thick. I initially cleaned mine with dish detergent, which I rinsed off, then towel dried the board. From there I rubbed in a little olive oil on all surfaces to season it - and I periodically repeat the oil process.
Although the knife and planer are supposed to be dishwasher safe I recommend against that. I hand wash mine and towel dry them.
