Now, I love fashion; one might even say I'm obsessed.

I also love Target, and I know for a fact that I deifnitely am obsessed.

So, the collaborations between Target and well-known fashion designers has been pure heaven for me. I enjoy every collection that graces Target with its presence; much of my wardrobe consists of these Target goodies.

However, while the fashion world is buzzing with excitement over Zac Posen's line for Target, I'm kind of.....apathetic. I hate to admit it, but it's true.

Zac Posen's designs are nice, I just don't think they're that special. The same is true of his line for Target- it's nice (shoulder shrug).

Will I stand in line for hours to buy the whole collection?
No.

Will I claw a fellow fashionista's eyes out to get the last of my favorite piece?
Nope.

Will I even buy anything?
I'm not sure. I definitely have my favorite pieces, and once I go into the store, I'm sure I'll have a dressing room full of things to try on, but...

...do I really want to spend $80 on a dress from Target?
Not really.

I'm kind of obsessd with the lipstick tee that reads "Zac" though. The yellow raincoat is super cute too. I also love the socks and high heels combo that completes the styling of the looks. But that's about it.

So while I remain thrilled that Target and high-fashion are besties, I think I might sit this collaboration out and let the rest of you fashion mavens enjoy.

SAMMY!!! It's devastating for me to read your hatred for Zac Posen's collection, since I have been counting down for legit ever. BUT the prices are a bit high, I will totally agree on that end :)

Amy! I'm so sorry to hurt you in such a painful way! Haha! It's not hatred I feel towards Zac, it really, really is just apathy. I'm happy you're so excited though, and I hope you're first in line when the merch hits the stores! I'm sure you'll make everything fab.

More clothes for me then! j/k ;) Most of the pieces, I'll wait for a bit to go on sale because as you said, who wants to spend $80 for a dress at Target? Even if it is by Zac Posen? But I'll probably try on a few things, namely a couple of those black mini dresses, and who knows, I may buy those ones off the bat since they're less than $50. Great review, Sammy!

Target does it again...ZAC POSEN STYLE

i can't say enough good things about Target. Their brilliant marketing campaign consists of high end designers creating a collection for the masses. Sure the fabrics aren't as luxurious as those being worn down the runway, but who cares? Some Hits, Some Misses

When I think of Zac Posen, I instantly think of Rachel Bilson posing in a chic, fashion-forward frock. While some of these pieces for the Target collection have fulfilled that vision, some have definitely fell short. I already know I'll see many Fashionistas gracing the sidewalks in the hot pink tiger striped dress. This is me breaking up with Zac Posen (for Target)

I have been looking forward to the Zac Posen designer collaboration for a LONG TIME. A very long time. Not Excited for This!

Black pants? Floral dress? Graphic Tee?. I really liked the red cocktail dress, but did it scream Zac Posen to me? No. What it DID scream was, " When will these Target collaborations end?" In my opinion, this trend is overdone. Luster gone. EVERYBODY is collaborating with EVERYBODY. I think its time for designers to stick to designer instead of trying to penetrate the mass market.
