Last trip we spent a lot of time in Tomorrowland; between the Buzz Lightyear ride and the Speedway, it felt like we practically lived in that area! Cosmic Ray's Starlight Cafe is in Tomorrowland, it's a quick service restaurant so we decided to grab lunch there one day. It was the best decision we ever made! I beleive this is one of the best quick service restaurants I have found thus far.


When we were there last year we decided to eat outside, it was pretty crowded inside, but now I know why...THE FOOD! There is something for everyone at Ray's and I mean EVERYONE! Soups, salads, sandwiches, chicken, BBQ chicken, burgers and yummy desserts.


The inside of the restaurant is designed like the lobby of a spaceship and is separated into 3 different ordering sections:
  • Bay 1 - BBQ Chicken and Ribs
  • Bay 2 - Hot Dogs and Burgers
  • Bay 3 - Double Cheese Burgers and Salads
While this is a nice idea, it's kind of a pain when everyone in your party wants something different because you then have to get in different lines. There is limited seating inside as well. Those are my only 2 'complaints' because really it was an awesome experience.


Let's not forget Sonny Eclipse, the animatronic lounge singer. We did not get a chance to be entertained by Sonny since we ate outside but hey, maybe this year ;)

We eat here all the time..only complaint we ever had was when we went right at lunch time it was packed..didnt help it was spring break :)

Great review. We love Cosmic Rays ! Its a great place to sit and people watch. We'll go there a few times each trip. I love the variety of foods and its not expensive at all.

Great Review! My family will be using the Disney Quick Service Dining Plan for our upcoming Spring Break visit to Disney World, and Cosmic Ray's is at the top of our list for places to eat in the Magic Kingdom. It is one of the best "Quick Service" Values for people using the Disney's Dining Plans in all of Disney World.

Thank you :) I agree, we love it. On our next trip we will be staying at Bay Lake Tower and my husband has already told me that he will be going to Ray's every day since we'll be close to it. Haha
