Best Carne Asada I've ever had

I have no idea how the season and tenderirze their Carne Asada (maybe I don't want to know?). I don't really care, either way, it's the best Carne Asada I've ever had.

The location of the restaurant is outstanding; the views from the upper level are especially nice. If there are waves, you can watch the surfers only a few hundred yards away. It looks like a great little break.

In a mall they always refer to the largest tenant as the anchor tenant... for example, a Nordstroms or a Best Buy depending on the mall.  Well, Don Pedro's is the anchor tenant of Sayulita.  They have the best location, literally right on the beach, the they are the biggest restaurant in the town... they are the anchor.       From the main floor or the upstairs area there are great views of the beach.  We just had my rehearsal dinner upstairs for 50 people …

Don Pedro's Restaurant in Sayulita, Mexico
Little did we know as our van took us traveling over the river and through the woods (actually through the jungle) that we’d soon drop down into a culturally adorable and authentic Mexican village.  This cute little town housed our destination - the restaurant, Don Pedro's, where my son’s rehearsal dinner was celebrated.        First impression: The smiling welcome of the staff balancing trays of Margueritas, Pina Coladas, Mojitos and Beer started …

Best view in Sayulita. Incredible carne asada. Cold beers. What more can you ask for?

I like to surf, ski, golf, play volleyball - basically anything outdoors. I don't like playing pool, golden tee, or shuffleboard (during the day) in dank bars.

About this restaurant

Wiki

the address is:
Marlin 2 Sayulita, Mexico
phone number: 01 329 291 3090

The restaurant was opened in 1992 by a gringo from Los Angeles after he found the town of Sayulita while on an endless summer surf trip.  He fell in love with Sayulita, opened Don Pedros and according to the website, he still lives and surfs in Sayulita.

The restaurant can accommodate group events on their outside beach side patio or upstairs in their private palapa.  Additionally the restaurant can arrange for live music and even fireworks on the beach.
