Great Happy Hour - Real Sushi for Fans of Sushi

Best Sushi Happy Hour in the South Bay 7 days a week.

Crispy Spicy Tuna is a fav and they use real crab in their rolls. Don't laugh, you'd be surprised how many places don't. Superb Uni and Spanish Mackeral.

The Bento Box is a good value at lunch and Tekka Don is even better.

The prices are good and the sushi is always fresh - you can tell by how many Japanese and locals regularly visit this place. It's in El Porto so it doesn't get as much visitor traffic as downtown. The locals consider it a hidden gem.

Happy hour 7 days a week? Sounds fantastic! And I find it impressive that they use real crab as so many places use the gross imitation stuff. Thanks for the heads up on this place!

Manhattan Beach's Best Kept Secret

If you drive by Katsu on Rosecrans and Highland, you probably won't even notice it is there. They do not have any signage on the building! There is a red awning and a door with an "A" rating hung on it and that is it. You better know what you are looking for. A Quick Tip by kevind

KATSU SUSHI IS RAW-SOME! . The other review was dead-on - look around at how many people that really know sushi (aka Japanese) are there. Sometimes lots of JAL flight attendants. Food is really good and the place is fun. This is superior quality sushi in a casual fun atmosphere, the way it's supposed to be! Get there, now!
