Kelly, I must agree with you. We were there in 2008 - 5 adults and 3 kids - none of us found anything stellar about the place

One of the hallmarks of a great restaurant is when the owners walk around and talk with the customers. This is but one of the impressive parts of a great Disney restaurant experience that is Le Cellier, Canada in Epcot. It was not just the Manager walking the room and talking with guests, but also the Chef. That shows a lot confidence in your menu. Le Cellier is one of those restaurants that we had always wanted to try, but was never able to schedule until our last trip. I had read all the …

When it comes to dining at Walt Disney World and Epcot in particular no place has transformed its reputation more than Le Cellier.     Le Cellier started out as a cafeteria style restaurant when Epcot first opened and remained that way until 1997. I remember getting my first taste of the now famous Canadian Cheddar Cheese soup in the cafeteria version of Le Cellier in 1992.       Back in those days Le Cellier was the place that you went …

I think this place has become stale. A place people feel like they need to eat. There are better options at Epcot.

Le Cellier is simply the best restaurant in the World Showcase. We love the steaks, cheddar cheese soup, and the pretzel breadsticks..

I'm a dichotomy. Really. That word sums it up.   I hate heights, but I love roller coasters! Hate loud noises but adore fireworks.      I'm low maintenance, but high quality. … more

About this restaurant

Le Cellier Steakhouse provides sit down restaurant service. The interior is to give the impression of a wine cellar as its name suggests. Food offerings include seafood and steaks, along with popular Canadian wines and beer. It's located in the main building of the pavilion, Hotel du Canada modeled after the Château Laurier hotel in Ottawa. The building is presented (with the aid of forced perspective) to look as if it is six stories in height, but is really only three. The restaurant was originally a cafeteria-style  dining hall. It actually is a cellar, located underneath the chateau; it has been designed to appear as a wine cellar, with simulated stone arches and dark ambient lighting.
