I like McDonald's especially when I crave for fried food. French fries is good but I only like them with chilli (especially the sweet and hot version; like Thai chilli) sauce and not ketchup. The only burger I eat is Filet-O-Fish and nothing else (oh, may be once in a blue moon the McChicken). McDonald is also great to have
when I'm broke! Other than that, I've no idea what the rest of McDonald means ;-)
Oh, I do love its hashbrowns! Matter of fact is, I love McDonald's for its grease (at least the oil is fresh, it could be worse!)! No one claims it's selling health food, do they? There was a time I liked its chicken nuggets but I haven't tasted it for years. No reason other than I've outgrown them, I suppose!
I do like its
fast service, especially when I am about to catch a plane. And I found myself using its washroom more often than not when I was traveling about in a new city or country. I did enjoy its coffee from McCafe when I was in Budapest. That was one especially memorable coffee.
So, yes, McDonald's has its value in more ways than one, LOL! At the very least, I can control my budget where McDonald is concerned, especially when one is on the road! Imagine going into restaurants and check their prices when you're low on cash! Rule of survival & McDonald's may be it for some!
For every single customer who hates McDonald's, I think there are at least three others who like it. Otherwise, you won't see the chain sprawling across the world, even more so than Starbucks and Walmart! Then again, other than Boeing's planes, this is one EXTREMELY successful American export! So why some Americans hate it is beyond me!
I do not think McDonald is "evil". I simply think one doesn't have to eat it every day and it serves its destiny for all of us once in awhile. Then again, don't take my word for it as I tend to be a junk food eater! Life is so lacking without junk food! Moderation is the key though, not isolation!
