It's tough to beat the Chicken Queso burrito. I go with the black beans, medium salsa, cheese and sour cream. So Tasty!

This place is trying to be Chipotle, but it falls short. I built a vegetarian fajita burrito like I would have at Chipotle. It wasn't bad, but their ingredients just didn't taste as good. I think Chipotle's sour cream has a unique sweetness to it that goes perfectly with the corn salsa. The only reason I stopped by was because they sent me a $5 coupon. Just stick to Chipotle.

I'll admit that my review may be slightly biased because I've only been to Qdoba twice and at two different locations. Nonetheless, I feel that Qdoba is a step or two below its competitor Chipotle.     Both times I visited, the food was extremely bland. Once, I ordered nachos, which came with pinto beans. It's hard for us to justify going to Qdoba (or Chipolte) when there are hundreds of better authentic Mexican spots around us.  But the Qdoba near our old work always ran great specials, had great service as well as quality food. About this restaurant

Qdoba Mexican Grill is a chain of fast-casual restaurants serving Mexican-inspired foods. The company was formerly known as Z-Teca Mexican Grill; it was acquired by Jack in the Box restaurants in 2003.

Qdoba was founded in Denver, Colorado in 1995 by Anthony Miller and Robert Hauser. The restaurant now operates over 450 locations in the United States and is headquartered in Wheat Ridge, CO. Its primary competition is from Chipotle restaurants, founded in Denver in 1993.

While the exact definition of the word "Qdoba" remains unknown, many historians theorize that the word is from an ancient Navajo language that means "house of food" or the "seasonal intake of livestock."
