I tried to test out RFD last night. They were very nice, but it took them 20 minutes to bring me a lemon aid, and then another 15 by the time they asked us to order. By then, my friend and I were both starving, and became increasingly weary of how long our meal was going to take. The prices were a very high, so the risk of spending a lot of money on something that was going to take a while and might not be great (for the price.) They were nice enough to comp my lemonade. I will definitely attempt to come back when I am not so starving.

give them another try and you'll be happy you did. Seriously..I've had some weird experiences there - like lukewarm food and forgotten plates (actually, now that i think about it...only weird times at the SaMo location, never the WeHo one) but all the good outweighs the bad! Because of the price, I usually only go for special occasions (or if my parents go the gift certificate route for xmas..) If you go back you gotta try the following -- Starters: bread and spread blt tartine not chos food: tv dinner salisbury seitan real food meal DESSERTS (the best part): it's all SO GOOD but my favs are the pudding, the apple crisp, and the coconut cake. also, the SaMo location has a chocolate hemp milkshake that melted my face off.

My favorite part of living in Los Angeles is the amazing vegan cuisine (I'm not even vegan). One of the very best places I have been to so far is Real Food Daily. Although I frequent the one in West Hollywood, there is a location in Santa Monica as well.      As is true with many vegan restaurants, the substitutes here taste better than the real deal! Also, unlike many vegan restaurants that use strange "chickn" and "fake-on", Real Food Daily relies on flavor …
