Don't you think you could have told me that before I examined the menu?

I don't know about anyone else, but it drives me absolutely crazy when a restaurant has run out of what I order. I take care in choosing an entree from a menu. I look forward to eating what I choose. So waiters/waitresses/restauranteurs do me a favor, and before I waste my time reading the menu and choosing an item, why don't you just tell me what items on the menu can't be ordered. Otherwise, I'm going to have to make a quick decision and/or sulk that my choice is no longer available.
