I've got this feeling that Blake Wise is going to be joining Chuck Wicks and Luke Bryan as country's newest young heart-throb. Yep, that was a cheesy play on words as Wise's new single is, in fact, called "I've Got This Feeling." This North Carolina native has the voice of a angel (a very manly angel, mind you) and the face to go with it. Men, lock up your gals. Not only can he sing like no one's business (which is appealing in itself), but he's pretty darn easy on the eyes. But don't be fooled -- he is far more than just another pretty face. Good looks alone aren't going to get you anywhere in the Nashville music scene unless there's talent to back it up. He definitely has that going for him; in addition to singing, he also plays guitar, mandolin, fiddle, banjo, and piano.
Wise grew up with a deep love for country music and began performing at the age of two. By the time he was 13, he had his own band that frequented country bars around his hometown of Nebo, NC. He moved to Nashville upon graduating from high school and, despite many struggles over the years, signed to Broken Bow Records in September 2009. His current single, "I've Got This Feeling," is a feel-good song that had me bobbing my head and tapping my foot before the first verse even started. The vocals are strong and the production is top-notch.
"I've Got This Feeling" is now available for purchase on iTunes and Amazon. It's also been released to radio, so call up your local station and request it if you like what you hear.
If you didn't notice already I am a HUGE country music lover. I have a huge respect for musicians/writers and have found some of my best friends through music. To say that I am a Rascal Flatts fan … more
