I purchased my City Mini in 2008 and have loved it from day one. At the time we were spending alot of time outdoors and my Maclaren Techno Classic wasn't cutting it the lack of ventilation alone was frustrating as I live in the deep south and my daughter would always be drenched in sweat with the canopy fully extended even while indoors. I started looking into 3wheel/jogger style strollers I really wasn't willing to give up the lightness of my mac but I new I needed something else. The weight limit was less the my mac so I was alittle hesitant but took the plunge and so glad that I did. I used my stroller a few months after buying it for the first time in disney and it was amazing. The fold was great for the buses b/c we didn't have to fold it up until the bus pulled up while other were unloading and folding their strollers much sooner and watching us in awe at how quickly we were able to fold the stroller up and walk on the bus. The canopy is an awesome feature to seclude your little one from over stimulation when they need it.
I use my mini on a daily basis for my 6yr old who is disabled. She weighs 45 pounds of dead weight due to her lack of mobility. I am still able to push one handed the seat fits her nicely in width and height. I have ordered the PE board that Baby Jogger now distributes for the city mini to provide the back of the seat w/ more support it should be here w/in a couple of days and I will share more info on that when I receive it.
Accessories I have attached to my city mini are two of the valco baby universal cupholder, the bj snack tray, and I am awaiting the arrival of the belly bar, I also have two mommy hooks and a skip hop spark.
ETA~ I just replaced my 2008 green seat w/ the 2009 stone seat and one difference that the two have is in the footwell the 08 has a textured rubber type of material where the 09 has a black mesh like material over the stone fabric. I am not sure how well this will hold up w/out tearing.
ETA~ I have been using the new PE board in my mini for the past week and it is fabulous my biggest fear about the jogger style strollers was the lack of support and since I am not able to see them in person I decided to take a chance. It wasn't as big of a problem as I thought it would be but now having the PE board it is perfect and well worth the 8 dollars.
