Addicting mindless television

The first time I watched this show I told myself that it was just some stupid teen drama and that I wouldn't like it. While it is a teen drama and it IS totally ridiculous, it's also totally addicting. I haven't missed an episode since the second season began, and I will be a faithful watcher until the end of the time.
If you need something to do on Monday nights and you like cheesy drama then you should check out this show!

I've never watched Gossip Girl, but always here the buzz about it. What makes it different than other teen dramas?

Gossip girl is a television drama series which first aired on the CW in 2007. Based on the popular book series with the same name (written by Cecily von Ziegesar), the series centers on the lives of privileged teenagers growing up in New York City Upper East Side. The characters attend elite academic institutions all the while dealing with friends, family, jealousy and other personal conflicts. The series is narrated by the unseen "Gossip Girl," and has been renewed for a third season, set to air in the fall of 2009. The starring cast currently includes Blake Lively, Leighton Meester, Ed Westwick, Chance Crawford, Penn Badgley, Taylor Momsen, Jessica Szohr, Kelly Rutherford and Matthew Settle. The story is written by The O.C.'s Josh Schwartz and Stephanie Savage, and directed by Mark Piznarski.
