My favorite season of one of my favorite shows. As pulpy & irreverent as one could hope and with tons of action, fantasy & mythology too. =D

About this tv show


Hercules: The Legendary Journeys was created by Christian Williams, and produced by Sam Raimi and Rob Tapert (The Evil Dead and Darkman films). The series featured a clever mixture of action/adventure, fantasy, horror, campy humor, mythology, pop culture references and satire. The series debuted in 1994 and ended in 2000 after six seasons.

The series starred Kevin Sorbo as Hercules and Michael Hurst as Iolaus. The show also featured such memorable guest stars as Anthony Quinn, Lucy LawlessRoma Downey, Robert Trebor, Renee O'Connor, Kevin Smith, Tawny Kitaen, and Bruce Campbell.
