The show was pretty funny early in its lifespan, but declined quite a bit near the end. The best parts of this show were just about anytime where Kel pissed off Kenan's dad, Roger.

In terms of black sitcoms in the 90's, it was much better than My Brother and Me, but a few notches below The Fresh Prince of Bel Air.
