A Quick Tip by RabidChihuahua

For many, many years, I never really understood the gargantuan hype surrounding Seinfeld.  I don't think it's a terrible show, but I find most of the show to be lukewarm in its humor.

With that said, there were occasional moments of hilarity, such as this.

On a sidenote, Jason Alexander may be most famous as George Castanza in this show, but I found him much funnier as the title character in the cult cartoon Duckman.

I never got into this show when it was hot but I did see a lot of the re-runs. I thought it was a good show but a little too inconsitent. Some episodes were also bad, as the jokes just were done in poor taste.

It's aging terribly.

Maybe you need to see a few more episodes. I suggest the Soup Nazi. When that show was on originally, things would be taken from it that would get incorported into Office Speak such as "Yadda, Yadda, Yadda." Larry David was one of the main writers of this show and he continues his brilliance with Curb Your Enthusiasm where he plays a George Costanza version of himself.

Back in the day, I saw probably around 75-85% of all the episodes out there. I did see the "Soup Nazi" episode, and it was pretty funny, but it seems like for every one funny episode, there's around 4-5 episodes that don't really do it for me. I have seen quite a few episodes of Curb Your Enthusiasm, and while not one of my favorites, I do think it fares better than Seinfeld.

Seinfeld is famously The Show About Nothing. Now, what that means to me is that the characters are simply existing. We know very little about just who they are, what they do, and what they want. In the grand scheme of things, there's nothing, and so to me, that's why Seinfeld is The Show About Nothing.     Now, on the day to day basis, Seinfeld being about nothing was nothing more than a little marketing scheme for idiots or jaded 90's people. Each and every episode was not only …

Definitely the best sitcom of all time! Seasons 1 & 2 are funny, but it starts getting even better around season 3 +.

Just ask yourself one simple question: Has any other sitcom come close to being as funny as Seinfeld? You'd be pressed to think of any. The fact is, Seinfeld ranks as one of the best TV shows to have ever aired in the United States. And for good reason! The "show about nothing" depicted four self-centered individuals living in New York City and depicted their adventures and how they crossed paths with each other on a regular basis. Pure genius.     The show's topics, too, were …
