Didn't like this show at all. The action was boring, and Shredder came off like a wimp. The few issues I read of the comic were far better.

Alas, this was a show I gushed over when I was a very little kid, especially during 1991-92. Looking at it now, I think it's merely okay at best. I forgot about a good chunk of this show when Nickelodeon came around.

I never liked this show. It just wasn't for me when compared to many other action oriented cartoons.

A lot of people did. I preferred the one from 2003 I think. That one was bad ass.

I thought the second animated series was pretty good in the beginning. It had some damn good action, with the Turtles fighting the Shredder Elite. I haven't seen the one you're talking about.

Teenage Mutant Ninja Turltes, oh yeah. A cult PHENOMENON in the late 80's that lasts, till pretty much now I'll be honest. I watched this show all the time when I was an adult and watching two boys around 10. They loved the show and when I would talk to them about it I was caught up in the action and the dialog. Looking back, it comes across as silly but at that time is was an interesting novelty.

Kid friendly take on Eastman and Laird's violent underground comic with a more colorful look and attitude. In all of the Turtles incarnations, it stands alone from the comic, movies and revival animated series, but it was still fun.

The old 80's show was great fun when I was a kid. Now grown up......I wonder what I was thinking. Sometimes you just can't look back.
