Probably One of the Worst Programs I have ever seen on Television, "Warehouse 13" is Plain Terrible!
Aug 5, 2009
I have seen some pretty bad television programs in my time. Syfy's attempt at bringing back Flash Gordonfor example. However, I have never watched a show that I couldn't even watch a full episode of and that's the case with Warehouse 13. To be honest, I didn't like this show before it even aired and then I decided to give it a real try mainly because Stargate Atlantis'Joe Flanigan was a guest star on tonight's episode. Not only could I not finish the episode, I immediately deleted the DVR recording and started asking myself, "Why is that actor talking into his badge?" The acting is terrible and the story lines are worse. This is truly television crap and how it has gotten its ratings, I will never know.
When two Secret Service agents, Myka Bering and peter Lattimer, are reassigned mysteriously, they find themselves at their new post, Warehouse 13. The warehouse is a Government storage space for supernatural objects that have been found throughout history. Their standing orders; to retrieve artifacts they come across and report sightings of new ones.
For one thing, the whole premise of the show is a complete rip-off of both The X-Filesand The Indiana Jones Saga. I mean, the giant warehouse comes directly out of Raiders of the Lost Ark. Seriously, does the Syfy Channel not have a single creative idea left in their tiny brains? I usually don't knock something this badly, but this show is SO bad that I can't help myself. What respectable Secret Service agent talks into his badge when making an arrest? I mean seriously. These two agents are supposed to be the Secret Service, the people who guard the damned President of the United States! UGH!!! I also don't think they should be joking about who they want to take to the bedroom while they're on the job. Who writes this stuff?
Like I said, I have seen some bad television, but seriously, stay away from Warehouse 13, you'll lose a precious hour of your life watching it. There are far better things on television right now like So You Think You Can Danceor Hell's Kitchen. If you're looking for good scifi, True Bloodis on every Sunday, but Warehousewill literally rot your brain. If you have to see for yourself how bad this show really is, Warehouse 13 airs on Tuesday nights at 9PM ET on the Syfy Channel -5/5...
I was undecided about this new show at first but it has gotten better with each passing episode. I find that it is consistently entertaining and consistently surprising and inventive. The characters were much too cartoon-ish for my taste at first but if they continue to flesh them out it will be interesting to watch.I particularly liked episode 5 "Duped" where the actress,Joanne Kelly, who plays Myka got to stretch her wings and show her sexy side.Wow! Hope this series keeps getting better … more
