i highly recommend it for any novice shooter out there! the tutorial in the very beginning gives you the oppertunity to learn the MANY different options you have in battle and in your environment as oppossed to trying to figure it out in the middle of your first battle. you can also swap weapons with your partner, praise them, or let them know theyre a fucking idiot.

the weapons are pretty freakin awesome too. i dont know too much about guns, but you have 3 types, primary (usually a assult rifle or shot gun), secondary (a hand gun), and a specialty (sniper or machine gun). you earn money for completeing objectives and can buy new or upgrade what you have. even the most basic gun can be customized to be pretty freakin sweet! theres also an option to "pimp" your weapons, which makes them gold or platnium, but ups your aggro.

next point! this is a VERY co-op game! you have to work together! on the right side of your screen theres an "aggro meter" the fuller your meter, the more the enemy notices you, but the more transparent your partner becomes which makes for good sniping or flanking. theres also things you need to do together like, co-op sniping or step jumps, one boosts the other onto a ledge and pulls the "booster" up.

the last misc points i really liked was assisting your partner. if your partner goes down, you can run to them and drag them to cover to heal them or, you can feign death if your gettin ready to get the crap shot outta you. both are very helpful!

to every posi there is a negitive. one thing i dislike is the lack of obtainable achievements. i LOVE seeing that little icon at the bottom of my screen letting me know i'm kicking ass and taking names. in GoW i got tons of ego boosts! some of them were simple and others i REALLY earned! but in this one, i have to kill 10, 000 guys with a sniper rifle or complete all campaigns in pro, or buy every single weapon. those are great for the SERIOUS pros, but what about those who are just starting? can you tell i'm an achievement farmer yet? hehe. josh doesnt like how it seems theres an endless stream of enemies. he gets restless and runs into battle instead of laying low and working as a team and i end up running to his rescue. i dont really mind that too much. and because hes so aggro all the time, it gives me time to snipe 'em all. ;)

About this video game

Wiki

Army of Two is a third person shooter video game developed by Electronic Arts, released on PlayStation 3 and Xbox 360, focusing on two mercenaries fighting through war, political turmoil, and a conspiracy from 1993 to 2009.

Focusing on cooperative strategies, Army of Two's main feature is the necessity to use coordinated teamwork to accomplish the game's goals. While the game is meant to be played with another human as a partner, a "Partner Artificial Intelligence" (PAI) is also included and programmed to follow the player's strategies. Dependence on a partner (whether human or PAI) is so pronounced that most objectives are impossible to complete without it.

The PS3 version of Army of Two is one of the first games for the console which will be region-locked for online play. EA claims that the region-locking is to prevent network lag caused by players from multiple regions, and to prevent the Asian region console owners from playing the US and European version of the game, as the Asian version has been censored to meet certain requirements (notably, the shooting of already dead bodies in the game).

Somalia (1993)

The story begins in 1993 in Somalia when Elliot Salem and Tyson Rios (the protagonists of the game) are in the U.S. 75th Ranger Regiment. They are tasked to work with Phillip Clyde, private military contractor with the Security and Strategy Corporation (SSC), tasked with carrying out the assassination of powerful ...
