Devil May Cry 4 is one of the first titles I grabbed for my new PS3. I am definitely glad I did. I am new to the Devil May Cry series, but I was not lost starting in the forth title. I own the first three games for the PS2, but just got them recently in a set. Fans to the series are introduced to a new character, Nero. Nero is part demon and part human, which makes for some majorly fun battles against the bad demons. The series star, Dante, is still a playable character for a handful of missions, but the game's story centers around Nero. The gameplay is really fun. The graphics are amazing! The title supports 720p, but I really thought I was in 1080 the whole time. The sound and music are awesome. Some of the levels get repetitive, as you end up going through familiar territory several times over, and refighting major bosses up to three times. You may also end up hating board games if you don't get lucky to pass a certain puzzle section of the game right away. That would have to be the only real fault of the game, in addition to sometime disorienting camera angles. All in all, though, Devil May Cry was a blast to play and the graphics alone make it worth playing.

The series then fell off the map with a couple of hastily produced sequels and now we're given the fourth installment. So, does Devil May Cry live up to its reputation? …
