The coolest thing since sliced bread

So, I link up with my friend on Bad Company 2 for a little multiplayer goodness, when something strange and wonderful happens. He starts chatting with me: clear as a bell. As if were on the telephone. He tells me, for Father's Day, his wife got him this amazing headset and that they're like nothing he's ever seen. (She's one cool mommy, right?)

His clarity of speech and high regards for the set immediately made me want to rush out and get a pair. So I did.

The PX21 Earforce headset from Turtle Beach is as cool as peanut butter. It's compatible with XBOX360, PC, and PS3 - and it's extremely easy to go from package to play.

Others have mentioned "hissing". That's never been a problem for me. Seriously, if anyone thinks this headset isn't a vast improvement over any blutooth, they are sadly mistaken.

The product details are accurate. This thing has adjustable controls for precise settings. Most remarkable, is the chat amp that automatically boost your voice during action, and allows you to hear youself in both ears. So, when speaking, you get what you hear- whether shout or whisper. Your choice.

It also has a solid, adjustable bass amp built in, so your predicaments can be as intense as your little heart desires. And nubes won't sneaking up and knifing you any more. Trust me, it's like 3D gaming for your ears.

Bottom line: these are cool. They are large, light and cushy. You are likely to feel like a real helicopter pilot, as you'll definitely look like one. The firm, adjustable voice receiver is solid and stays where you set it. It also works great with voice apps on the PC.

Don't worry about whether or or not they give enough cord length between your headset and your system. It's atleast ten feet long, maybe longer.

I normally review films, but on occasion a gadget comes along that's so cool I want to tell my amazon friends about it.

Tired of gaming with your irritating blu-tooth and want to take it to the next level? Is your computer's mic comparable to two cans and a string? Search no more! Just add to cart and proceed.

About this video game

The Ear Force PX21 integrates premium stereo game sound with crystal-clear communication on the PlayStation Network (PSN), XBOX LIVE and PC/Mac to create the definitive audio environment for playing popular game titles on all platforms.

The PX21 is two headsets in one—a stereo USB headset for chat sound and an amplified stereo headset for game sound. The PX21 gives you a significant advantage because you can hear sound cues others can’t, so you’ll react faster and take them out before they take you out. Unique gaming features such as variable bass boost, chat boost, stereo expander and convenient volume controls for chat and game audio, provide a competitive edge that can make the difference between winning and losing.

If you’re serious about your PS3, XBOX 360 or PC gaming, then get serious about the sound. Move up to the Ear Force PX21 and become a better player while experiencing your games as they were meant to be heard.
