NASCAR 2011: The Game Review

  • Apr 12, 2011
My final call on NASCAR 2011: The Game is that it’s a solid first try from Eutechnyx and Activision. If you are a racing fan, you won’t mind the limited career mode and slightly weak multiplayer. The actual racing action is what you come for, and you won’t be disappointed. The game’s default difficulty might be a bit easy for your seasoned veterans, so consider amping up the difficulty a bit to stay challenged. NASCAR 2011: The Game is a decent first installment, but we expect much better the next time around.

A departure from earlier NASCAR games, this all-new racing series focuses much more closely on realistic aspects of NASCAR racing. The Redefinition of the NASCAR Racing Game

NASCAR The Game 2011 completely redefines what fans can expect from a NASCAR racing game. In this all-new rendition players have the choice of creating their own driver from the ground up, or to race as one of the many real-world drivers included in the game as they roll through the NASCAR Sprint Cup Series Championship. Each of the pro drivers available resembles his or her real world counterpart, making real-world rivalries played out in the game all that much more real. The game also contains 22 real world tracks, full pit stop strategy, ferocious damage and wrecks as well as a range of other on-track actions. In the end, regardless of the driver or the raceNASCAR The Game 2011 has something for both longtime and new fans of the NASCAR game series.
