Originally meant to be a prequel to Street Fighter II, and retconning the story altogether. Street Fighter Alpha soon became it's own series, and this anthology collects the three games along with Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold and Gem Fighter aka Pocket Fighter. The games are still good even by today's standards, and you can see the progress from sequel to sequel. Highly recommended if you're a SF fan.

I HATED the live action movie. And I thought the anime was average at best.

I actually liked the anime. The music was fun. I didn't care for the movie.

The movie was swill at its finest. The anime never really truly impressed me. The single movies or even the series. The series had a lot of potential but got worse along the way because of budget issues. I might review it just to get it out the way.

Awesome collection of some of the Street Fighter Alpha series games. I got mine pretty cheap and I dig it. The games in the collection are: Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3. Good game for fighting fans. I'm not the best at these games but I had fun. :)

Street Fighter Alpha Anthology, released in Japan as Street Fighter Zero: Fighters' Generation, is a 2006 fighting game compilation that collects the Street Fighter Alpha series (Street Fighter Alpha, Street Fighter Alpha 2 and Street Fighter Alpha 3). The game also includes a remixed version of the console-exclusive Street Fighter Alpha 2 Gold and Super Gem Fighter: Mini-Mix (previously released on the PlayStation as Pocket Fighter), as well as two secret games.
