Craigslist - the ultimate BFF.

Where would I be without Craigslist? He's been the ultimate BFF to me over the past several years. He's hooked me up with my past four jobs. He's helped find my last three apartments. He makes me laugh with his "Best Of" section. He listens to me when I want to rant. He's assisted me in selling off old crap when I needed to clean out my closet - or simply needed a few extra bucks. He's helped me furnish my apartments for cheap. He indulges me when the Chicago winters get bad and I start checking out apartments in Miami. When I felt lonely, he even tried to hook me up with some interesting young men (including a few bachelors from Nigeria who tried sending me money orders- but we'll forgive him for that).

Thanks for being a true friend, Craigslist.

I've heard that founder Craig Newmark likes it that way. I can guess from this single …

Yes, I know Craigslist is more than just buying and selling "stuff".  I haven't found much use for Craigslist outside of selling stuff, though.  I haven't even purchased anything off the site.  Just today I gathered up some stuff and listed it in my own virtual garage sale.  You can read about that here:      http://jeffdalydose.wordpress.com/2010/02/04/digitalgaragesale/      So what some other uses for Craigslist?   …

I actually use this site quite often. It has allot of different aspects to it, and I know it has received some bad press but I defiantly think it has more to offer then to offend.

Great for entertainment, but very unreliable for finding job prospects, etc. Be careful to avoid scams!
