Rather Use Google

Maybe I'm just a Google fan boy.  Well, yes... I am a Google fanboy.

Dictionary.com is great.. don't get me wrong.  But there's that little researcher in me that always says, "look at multiple sources".

And that's where Google comes in, along with Firefox.  Using Firefox's Keyword function, I've set my "awesome bar" to allow for definitions.

Here's how:
  1. Save Google.com in your favorites, call it Google Define.
  2. Right click on the favorite and click on Properties.
  3. Set the following:

Then save and now you're done!  Now, when you go to your address bar.. all you have to do is type in "define" space, then the word that you want defined.   Of course, if you selected a different keyword, use that instead.  Now, you'll be shown a list of definitions along with the source (Wikipedia, dictionary.com, etc.).

Compared to dictionary.com and other online dictionaries, Google shows a full list of all definitions, including it's proper noun version... if there is one.
