This video caught me off guard and really made me think and ponder at the depth and amount of information that exists in cyberspace. Do take the five minutes to watch it, especially if you work or dabble in Internet Technology or related fields. It makes me want to do one of two things:
1) Get excited about living in the 'information' age and spend my time hungrily consuming all the news, gadgets, and info that was not before available to everyone at the click of a button say 15 years ago.
2) Get away from all this info overload and move into a log cabin in the mountains with no internet or cable TV, grow my own vegetable garden, collect rain water, raise chickens, live off the grid, and invite my city dwelling friends to spend weekends there so that they can get away from all the madness and so that I don't go completely crazy in isolation with just my husband and kids.
What would you pick? Somewhere in the middle? What do you think about this video and the implications of all the facts it highlighted? Does it inspire you, frighten you, make you go mad? I would love to know what others think!
PS: Yay, I finally used the Lunch This button!
