Go to this website and drag the highlighted word "Grooveselect" into your bookmarks toolbar. Now when you're on ANY webpage that mentions the name of a song, just highlight it (along with the artist, if it's there) and click on the "Grooveselect" button that you just dragged into your bookmarks toolbar. 3, 2, 1...
And now you're listening to the song. Almost instantly. No media players, no stream samples cut short, just the entire song you wanted to listen to playing magically outta (seemingly) nothing but thin air. How cool is that? TOO cool. Out of the 5 very different songs I tested it with, 4 of them actually worked [highlighting "Use Somebody" by Kings of Leon actually played "Be Somebody" by the same artist]. Still a good success rate by any standards.
Music junkies may find joy in opening up a fresh Google search page, typing in the name and artist of any random song that comes to mind, highlighting it and hitting the "Grooveselect" bookmarklet to listen to the jam right then and there. This would save you some time and clicks, rather than clicking on search results to bring you to a website that may not even have the full song at all.
If you don't wanna waste time going to YouTube, logging into IMEEM, or searching on Last.fm or Pandora.com, this could be for you. Give it a shot... You might be pleasantly surprised!
