I run 2 blogs; making my own designs for freebie kits and elements for the digital scrapper and tag maker, and the other blog offers freebies as well, but is mainly to sell my design kits that I have purchased from commercial artists.
Going through a blog with so many items to look at can take time, and some people may not have the time to go through the 100 or so freebies I offer, so I installed the Link Within Blogger Widget and what a huge difference!
It works very simply; under each of your posts, it will automatically display 3 thumbnails and titles of similar posts. For example, if my post is about a freebie, the 3 thumbnails under that post will be about other freebies, and so on. The reader will notice, and click on it and automatically be taken to that particular post. The other cool thing is that each time you get on the blog, or go to an older post, all of the Links Within thumbnails change so your reader will not be looking at the same additions all the time.
Just in the past week, when I installed it, I have had many, many clicks on Link Within, and it's so easy to install.
Go to www.linkwithin.com and follow the extremely simple instructions; all you need to do then is to paste the code (or it will put it on your blog automatically) and just move that widget under "Your Posts" on your display page. So simple, and it hasn't let me down yet.
I would recommend this little widget to anyone who wants to make sure their readers can get all the info you want them to see just by looking at your most current posts.
If you are interested in seeing this feature in action, please take a peek at my blogs:
Link Within is a simple to install and automatic Blogger widget that will display 3 thumbnails and titles to related posts under ALL of your posts. The nice thing is that it is automatic; nothing to do but install it, and each time you or a visitor gets on your blog, the Link Within links change, so no one sees the same link or thumbnail every time.
Go to www.linkwithin.com and follow the easy instructions, and it will place it automatically on your selected blog. Go to the Design section of your blog and move the widget directly under "Your Posts" and you're good to go!!
This little golden find has been wonderful to get my visitors to view other similar posts instead of taking the time to look under my posts related under the "Tags" - very helpful!!
