Most brides have heard about The Knot. Since their launch in 1996, The Knot brand has quickly established itself as the leading resource for the modern bride. From the most comprehensive wedding website, to in print wedding magazines, to TV specials...The Knot has reached millions of Brides world wide.
The Knot not only offers wedding trend inspiration but also information to local wedding vendors in your area to help you plan your big day. Here are a bit more about what The Knot can offer Brides today (from their site):
When a bride starts browsing The Knot's site, they will soon be asked to register. This is free to do and allows The Knot to tailor your browsing experience geographically. You will then have the ability to search for local wedding vendors in your area and also create a wedding profile to keep track of all of your wedding details. The Knot also offers engaged couples the opportunity to create a (free) personal wedding website. I did this when I was planning my wedding and it served as a fun way to keep family member up to date and involved in your planning. Note: When I logged in today to look around I was welcomed with the message "Welcome back Tori. You've been married for 1,646 days." :) When I was planning my wedding I definitely used The Knot as my main resource. The access to endless wedding information was very useful and saved me a lot of time (not to mention money- bridal magazines are very expensive).
The Knot has recently expanded to serve couples beyond their big day. With sister sites The Nest and The Bump it seems this brand will continue to grow with you for years to some.
