Twitter Moms is a wonderful site for moms that twitter and that want to be connected to other mom's that twitter. Since I am an avid twitterer and a mother, I decided to check the group out. All I can say is kudos to Megan Calhoun the founder. The moment I joined, members immediately came to welcome me to the site and suggested various groups and topics that I might be interested in. Fellow writers even gave me free feedback on ways to improve my blog.
Twitter moms is a great is a social networking arena where moms from all over the world can connect, join various groups, blog, and discuss all of the stresses, joys, triumphs, and pains of being a mom. If you have a mom friendly business it is an excellent opportunity to market your goods or services. Also, the Twitter mom groups host a wealth of information on almost any topic you can think of-freelance writing, parenting tips, organic foods, being an attorney and a mom, crafts and activities, book clubs, and the list goes on. Twitter Mom's is a close knit group and apparently pretty powerful when it comes to using Web 2.0 to disseminate ideas. I was pleased to see that Twitter mom's were influential in bringing about the demise of a commercial that many a mother took offense to.
What makes this site worth its weight in gold is that EVERYONE is super helpful and super friendly. I have made some wonderful contacts here that have provided me with both professional and personal help. Twitter moms is an excellent way to stay connected with like-minded individuals.
