Kanye West
There's absolutely nothing I like about Kanye West, whether it be his music or his personality. Kanye is nothing more than a pompous ass with an ego bigger than the Goodyear blimp, and his music is some of the most bland hip-pop (NOT real hip-hop, just pop music disguised as hip-hop) I've ever heard.     Do your part and ignore this attention-seeking prick, then go listen to the …

Kanye West
It's worth your time to hear his music, despite what a social screw-up and embarrassment he is to his genre of musicians and to himself. Regardless, his poetry and flow are pretty epic and ground breaking... not to mention really fun to dance to ; )

Kanye West
The best thing about Kanye West is also the worst thing about him: he has no filter. What Kanye thinks comes out of his mouth, or on the stage of an awards show or benefit concert, or best of all, into his music. This is what makes his lyrics so fascinating: what other hip-hop star would write so earnestly about his relationship with another rapper as Kanye did with Jay-Z on "Big Brother"? …

Kanye West
I dont like kanye west. I do have to give it to him cause he does make good music but his music is over shadowed by his bad manners. You could be the smartest or prettiest person in the world but if you act like a jerk it doesnt matter. no one has the right to make you feel less then what you are. Someone needs to humble Kanye West boy one day that cloud is gonna slip from under you. …

Kanye West
I loved Kanye back in the day.  Ok, he hasn't been around that long... but I dug the preppy look, and his debut album.      But I just can't stand him now.  "I'm the new Slick Rick"  "The voice of this generation".  He compares himself to Justin Timberlake and other artists from back then.  Really ballsy, but completely unwarranted.   …

Usually when I'm waiting for one of my favorite artists to drop a new record, I have an idea of where it's going to be coming from.  With Kanye West's '08 brainchild, 808s & Heartbreak, that was far from the truth.    West debuted the album's first single, "Love Lockdown," to raised eyebrows at the 2008 MTV VMAs, including my own.  Had he gone crazy?  Why was …

Kanye West
I first noticed him on some of Jay-Z's albums, and first saw him at a Jay-Z concert in Chicago, where Kanye was announced the newest member of Rocafella. First concert I saw him perform in, however, was about a year later - yet well before he "blew up". I saw him at a fairly small venue, and I remember being able to visibly see the passion this man had for his music, his performance- he was damn near …

Kanye West
I have been listening to Kanye West ever since I noticed his quick verse on Jay-Z's album, The Blueprint 2, on the song, The Bounce. My first impression of Kanye was that he was a a protege to Jay-Z since he was at the time an up and coming artist on Rocafella Records, Jay-Z's record label.  I later found out that this man has had a long history with the legend, Jay-Z and was first noticed …
