Plans for Nov. 11? Common Ground Awards 2010

  • Aug 24, 2010
Rating:
+5
The Common Ground Awards 2010, will be held in November this year at National Geographic Society in Washington, DC. This event is bound to be a memorable experience; it is the 12th year of the awards and they only keep getting better.

The awards are presented annually to honor outstanding accomplishments in conflict resolution, negotiation, community building, and peacebuilding. Recipients have made significant contributions toward bridging divides between people, finding solutions to seemingly intractable problems, and providing inspiration and hope where often there was none.

Anyone can be part of the audience and enjoy a lovely dinner, while hearing from the recipients about their work and contributing to the effort of transforming conflict. You can meet other people you support this cause and collaborate on efforts or just share interests. If you want to be part of the action, go onto http://www.sfcg.org/sfcg/sfcg_cgawards.html and sign up! I know I will be there, hope to see some of you.
