Excellent intro to this legendary performer. Like the previous reviewer, as a teenager I grew up listening to seventies rock n roll. Whereas many of those tunes from that era will always be special, I have broadened my horizons to many other styles.

On a whim, I borrowed this fine compilation and found that Old Blue Eyes certainly had some variety in his repetoire as well as a fine vocal delivery. In addition, most if not all of these tunes are quite strong in the melody department. Love And Marraige, Fly Me To The Moon, My Way, That's Life, Summer Wind, and the incomperable New York New York are just six super standouts. Oh I forgot to mention Strangers In The Night and The Way You Look Tonight. I guess that I could really go on and on.

Anyway, this is a fine compilation which covers many of the important tunes of his career. An ideal selection for rock n roll fans who want a touch of that old time wing in their music collection.
