Aberlour 10 Year Single Malt Scotch - My favorite from Speyside

i love Aberlour. We have a local scotch bar here where I live in Baltimore. There are over a hundred bottles of scotch to chose from and I usually chose Aberlour. It had a wonderful golden color. The nose is has a dry fruity aroma. You will also notice a little vanilla in the nose, at least I do. The scotch has a warm gentle feeling. It does not burn or hit your throat hard. It goes down very smooth with a wonderful warming feeling. The Speyside Whisky are my favorites. They are comforting and easy to enjoy. I have a wonderful friend from Scotland who I spent sometime with in London. We did pub crawls each evening and then before retiring to our rooms we capped off each evening a different scotch from the hotel bar. When she introduced me to Aberlour I knew I found my favorite.

Firm, rounded, light to medium body.

Cragganmore ™ is one of my favorite single malt scotches!!! I came to this much sought-after single malt through allot of years of drinking blended scotch whiskeys like Johnnie Walker Black. However, one has to work their way up to this smoky taste.
