I can easily trace back the time line of my alcohol consumption ...

1995-1999, High School: Jello shots (I could get drunk off of one)
1999-2003, College: Beer at frat parties then I "upgraded" to Boones Farms (how classy of me)
2003-2004, Post college year of spending graduation money: Apple martinis and cosmos (damn you Sex and the City)
2005-2007, It was all about the gin: Gin and Tonics was my only friend.
2007-present, Vodka: It tastes better with soda, which has few calories.
BUT we are talking about gin right now!
I remember the first time I was introduced to Hendrick's. I was in a martini bar in West Hollywood and I asked the bartender to shake me up a cucumber martini. When he told me they don't make that, I wanted to splash my drink in his face. Until I realized I had no drink to splash. The bartender quickly redeemed himself by telling me about a gin that tasted like cucumber (it was Hendricks). So I said "Ok, sure ... I will give it a try."
I can't say I remember how the gin tasted that night. But I do remember that I had a great time.
Flash to a few months later when a bottle of Hendricks arrived at my door (isn't shipping wonderful) and I was ready to give this gin a second try.
Delicious.
Not only is this gin delicious, it tastes like on other gin I have ever laid lips on. I also love the website because it has tons of interesting cocktail ideas.

Hendrick's Gin is distilled and bottled in Scotland. It has been handcrafted in small batches since 1886. Hendrick's is 44% alcohol by volume.
Hendrick's won a Gold Medal at the 2000 San Francisco World Spirits Competition.
The copy on the back label:
"This handcrafted gin is distilled from a proprietary recipe which includes traditional botanicals such as juniper, coriander and citrus peel. The "unexpected" infusion of cucumber and rose petals result in a most iconoclastic gin.
