About Me

Funny as a stand-up comic, and twice as moody. Highly encouraged by the use of the "review was helpful" button, this denizen of dark computer labs has a propensity toward wire, wildly creative thought, red wine, and salty snacks. Has been known to take things apart and not be able to get them back together.

Victorinox Ceramic Santoku Knife, 7-Inch
This knife is very inexpensive compared to other ceramic knives. Heck, just a few years ago you couldn't buy one this large at all, so it was great to see this one come it at this price point.    The …
Toy Story 3 Best Friends Book and Magnetic Buddy
This is a very weak attempt to capitalize on the popularity of the Toy Story 3 movie.    The doll that comes with the book is very cheaply made, and is on the order of something you …

Scotch Adhesive Dot Roller, 0.33 x 49 Feet
This is a fun little device. It is hard not to smile while using it!    Basically, it is a cross between glue and tape, with a neat little applicator. It lays down just the right amount …

KR Tools 10046 45-Piece Stubby Tool Set in Hard
I really like this.     The shorter length of the tools, because it makes them easy to work with in tight spaces. The handles are fat, grippy rubber for great leverage.    The …

Netgear Stora 2-Bay 1 TB (1 x 1 TB) Network
This is a nice, inexpensive way to store large amounts of data in a central location.     It provides (though the company's web site) remote access to the data without any set up, …

Lexmark Interact S605 Wireless Multifunction
This is a very attractive printer. It has a large touch screen on the front that looks a lot like an iPhone and a couple of large, hidden buttons that light up when available. The overall look is gloss …

Gyration Air Mouse Elite In-Air Cursor Control
I have to give quite a few powerpoint presentations, and I'm also the type that tends to walk around while I'm doing it.     Several years ago, I considered using a small remote device …

Corel PaintShop Photo Express 2010
I liked the clear, attractive user interface. Everything seemed easy to find, and fairly intuitive for this type of program.    The functionality is very basic, and tends to do things …

Diamond BVU195 HD USB Display Adapter
Lately some small LCD monitors have been showing up with USB ports on the back. The idea is that they can easily plug them into a laptop or computer as a second (or third) monitor for displaying something …

Gerber 30-000140 Crucial Tool, Green
This is a very attractive multitool. I have several, and many of them look more like weapons than tools, which is generally not a good thing when all you are trying to do is open a bottle without scaring …

Nice reviews, Sean!  I came across your reviews and noticed that it has been a while since you've been on Lunch, so I thought I'd let you know about a couple of Lunch's new features.  There the list feature, where you can create lists such as Nuts for Nutrition and there's the micro review feature, where you can write reviews that are 140 characters or less.  Let me know if you have any questions and happy holidays, Sean! :)

That was hilarious, thx! Thoroughly enjoyed that review - and it started off rocky at first, as I though the green feet detail verged on too much info ; ) Total pay off though with the in-depth product assessment. Nice work!
